Beginner’s chess curriculum designed by Tamer Karatekin, a successful children’s chess coach whose students have won medals in the World, European, Turkish, and Istanbul U7, U8, U9, and U10 chess championships. Tamer, a former national champion of Türkiye and the first-board player for MIT’s chess team, holds the titles of FIDE Master, FIDE Trainer, and FIDE School Instructor, awarded by the World Chess Federation.
